Washington, D.C., 12/12/2023 – It is with great pleasure that we announce that Mark Fleming has been promoted to Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer of HWP Insurance. In this new position, Mr. Fleming will report directly to agency principals Edward Bonifant and Michael Cauley. He will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the agency.
During his tenure at HWP, Mark has played a pivotal role in advancing the success and growth of the agency. Under his leadership, the Commercial Service Team has tripled in size and has adopted a robust cross-selling program. Mark also led the P&C department’s conversion to a new agency management platform and the E&S Small Business consolidation, both initiatives had a positive result in improving and streamlining department operations.
Mr. Fleming’s proven track record of implementing operational efficiency, enhancing technology and fostering a culture of collaboration are only a few reasons he was the clear candidate to take the reins of day-to-day operations. About Mark Fleming
Mr. Fleming began his career at HWP in October 2009 as a Commercial Lines Account Manager. He was promoted to Director of Commercial Lines in 2013 and to Vice President of Commercial Lines in 2022. Mark is a graduate of Florida State University where he completed his MBA in 2021. In addition, he holds the following insurance industry specific designations: CPCU, CIC, CRM and CCIC.
