Washington, D.C. 05/08/2024- It is with great pleasure that we announce the promotion of Megan Brittingham-Dodd to the Director of Commercial Lines. In her new role, Megan will oversee the Commercial Account Management Team and work closely with the Executive Team to continue HWP’s advancement into the future. Megan’s dedication, industry expertise and outstanding contributions to HWP’s success made her the best candidate to take over this position.
Since joining HWP in 2016, Megan has played a pivotal role in advancing the Commercial Lines Department’s efforts. She has been a vital contributor in various initiatives including spearheading the implementation of essential client software and ensuring the successful onboarding of our P&C service team. Megan was a key member of the agency management conversion project and helped facilitate a seamless transition to our new management system.
Serving as a Senior Account Manager, she has consistently showcased exceptional leadership skills and a profound understanding of the insurance industry. Her extensive experience within the construction and transportation divisions has been instrumental in delivering exceptional service to our valued clients.
Throughout her tenure, Megan has demonstrated a relentless commitment to professional growth and excellence. Notably, she completed her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Maryland University College while working diligently in her Account Management role. Additionally, Megan has earned the designations of Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR).
