HWP Insurance is excited and proud to welcome our 2020 summer interns. Charlotte Levine and Owen Cauley have joined the staff in HWP’s Annapolis office and will spend the summer learning various aspects of the commercial insurance industry and general business protocol.
HWP began our summer internship program in 2013 as a way to provide practical, hands-on experience to college students interested in the insurance industry. “We believe that it is important to foster a knowledge of the insurance industry and its many opportunities among the younger generation. This year we are especially proud to be able to provide this opportunity in the wake of COVID-19, as many businesses have suspended their internship programs,” stated company CEO, Ed Bonifant.
Charlotte is from Rockville, Maryland and is a rising sophomore at the University of Georgia. She plans to major in Advertising. In addition to working at HWP this summer, Charlotte will travel with her family and catch up with friends.
Owen is from Davidsonville, Maryland and is a rising sophomore at the University of Pennsylvania. He is enrolled in The Wharton School with a planned concentration in finance. In his spare time from HWP Owen will train for lacrosse, spend time at the beach and on the golf course.
